Civilian Business SOP List

Created by Drake M.

Interested in starting a Civ Business or Criminal Organization? Make sure your SOP follows these guidelines before you submit your SOP to Civ Council! You can own up to two business SOPs at time (both legal businesses, both criminal, or one of each)! No matter the type, however, all of these guidelines must be followed.

  • Title Page includes name of Business

  • Header or Footer includes owner’s name and unit # as well as date SOP written or updated.

  • Cleanly formatted with good grammar.

  • SOP must have some form of actionable RP that can be played out in game

  • Must include at least one job/role for any player (any tier) can play without explicit permission from the SOP owner.

    • Criminal SOP's aren't required to have an "open" position that can be played without application – but must still offer jobs for all tiers. A requirement for an "open" position may be required under certain circumstances as determined by Civilian CoC.

  • SOP should not include more than 4 locations or properties across the whole state as “owned” or for exclusive use for their SOP. No property or location is officially owned by any one player, and consideration must be given to others already RPing in those areas when you wish to RP with your business or your own scenario.

  • Rules can’t contradict Civ SOP or Community Rules.

  • In order for a business vehicle to be registered, the business must have been approved in and in confluence in order for the vehicle to be legit. You must also have one designated plate to reflect said business. (Ex. If you have a trash collector SOP, you must have the designated plate for each vehicle). Do note a Criminal business cannot have a “business plate” (unless backed by a legitimate business).

  • You may submit edits and other changes to your SOP once every 30 days.

  • You may request a business channel in the Discord after your business has been approved by Civilian CoC.

  • You must inform Civilian CoC for any removal of a member inside of a business channel or business as a whole. This is to reduce any miscommunication or issues between members.

  • You may add any outside links to the document such as Rosters, Templates, or other business related links attached to the SOP if you wish to do so. However if any outside links such as websites, other discord links and such are found during the approval process from Civilian CoC, the SOP will not be published until it has been removed.

  • You may “retire” the business to Civilian CoC if you wish to no longer run the business, but wish to have it remain in the community.

  • You must be in good standing with OCRP Gaming, meaning you cannot have any disciplinaries/points with any Department in OCRP Gaming.

  • You must have a brief description of what the business does. Example being: If you have a criminal business, what kind of crime does the business do? Grand Theft Auto? Drug Trafficking? Murder for Hire? If you have a legit business, what do they offer? Do they offer tow services for Big Trucks? Do they have a delivery service?

*Civilian CoC has the right to shut down businesses/criminal organizations if they continue to cause trouble in Server or are not run correctly. We strive for realism with OCRP Gaming and if a business fails at this, they may be terminated*

*Disclaimer, if a member who is in charge of the business leaves the community, all documents and rights stay within the OCRP Gaming Community. As well as Civilian CoC has the right to deny any SOP submissions if they deem necessary to do so.*

Please feel free to reach out to Civilian CoC if you have any questions!
